About me

Hi my name is Chelsey Burgess, I’m a Los Angeles based clothing designer, stylist, and creative director with 11 years of experience in the fashion industry. As of 2026, I have assisted with bringing 40+ clothing collections to life from concept through production, and launched a mobile boutique featured at 75+ pop-up events.

I’m a kind-hearted midwestern gal born and raised in Ohio. It’s important to me to always remember where I came from, and carry those values with me wherever I live and work :) I value genuine, transparent, authentic people with integrity.

I studied fashion design for 5 years at the world renown DAAP program (Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning) at the University of Cincinnati. While studying here, I completed 5 internships throughout the US at companies including Abercrombie and Fitch, Zac Posen, Nicholas K, and more.

After college, I moved to Los Angeles and started working in fabric research and development for Revolve, which added even more valuable knowledge to my belt before transitioning into the design department. I spent 3 years designing for Revolve, and later moved onto a new design role at Pacsun.

Most recently, I decided to go off on my own and launch a vintage clothing boutique, Little Woods Lane Vintage. Running a company has taught me more than I could have ever imagined… from accounting to social media promotion to sourcing all goods to designing a pop-up boutique and being the lead salesperson… I have learned how to wear MANY hats — probably more than I would have chosen ;)

In general I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, highly creative settings. I am a very detailed-oriented person with a deep passion for fashion. My strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and positive attitude make me a great team player and collaborator.

I’m very excited to see where my next career move takes me!
